5 Day Desert Tour from Fez to Marrakech

1st Day: Fez — Ifrane — Midelt — Erfoud — Merzouga Dunes

The departure of the Riad/Hotel will be at 8h. The trip to the dunes of Erg Chebbi will last 8 hours in which we will see the Atlas mountains and some villages (Tafilalet, Erfoud and Rissani). We will stop in some cities like Ifrane and Azrou to enjoy the view of the cedar forests and the monkeys that live there. Lunch will be served in Midelt and then we will continue through the Ziz valley with a beautiful view of the palm trees until reaching Erg Chebbi where we will go on a camel excursion to reach the desert camp to spend the night in a Berber tent.

2nd Day: Erg Chebbi – Tisrdmine Oasis – Khamlia – Merzouga Desert

In the morning we will ride on camel early to enjoy the view of the sunrise, the destination will be the hotel for breakfast and take a shower. Then we will explore the nomadic life and see many small villages like (Merzouga, Hassi Labied and also Khamlia) drive for 60 kilometers. In the afternoon you can enjoy a swim in the pool of a local hotel surrounded by beautiful views of sandy mountains.

3rd day: Erg Chebbi - Rissani - Toroug - Tingdad - Gorges of the Todra

After breakfast, we drive through the black desert (Hamada) to reach Rissani and Erfoud the fossil town where we will visit a fossil workshop before visiting the Todra Valley, the favorite place of rock climbers. We will walk there before going to the hotel, where we will have dinner and spend the night.

4th Day: Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate

We will start the day with breakfast at the hotel, then continue our journey through many ancient Kasbahs and the rocky region of the Dades Valley, where nomads still live in caves. We will spend some time with one of these families who still lead a simple life to get to know their culture better. Then we will visit the valley of roses, known for planting and processing organic products from roses, to reach the palm groves of Skoura. 45 km by car to Ouarzazate, where we will spend the night in a local hotel.

5th Day: Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – High Atlas – Marrakech

Nuestra aventura comenzará después del desayuno; empezaremos visitando los estudios de cine de Ouarzazate (el Hollywood africano). Nos dirigiremos a Marrakech por la carretera que atraviesa las montañas del Alto Atlas y el paso de Tizi n’tichka y almorzaremos en el centro de las montañas del Atlas antes de llegar a su riad u hotel en Marrakech. final del tour de 5 días de Fez a Marrakech a través del desierto
